Abstract:
Objective: Based on the existing clinical trials, a meta-analysis was conducted on the efficacy of acupuncture and moxibustion combined with acupressure in the treatment of CINV and the patients' stigma and quality of life, so as to provide reference for clinical practice. Methods:In this study, PubMed, PMC, CNKI and other databases were searched to find randomized controlled trials (RCTS) of acupuncture combined with acupressure in the treatment of CINV and its effect on patients' stigma and quality of life. Then, according to the title, abstract and key words, appropriate literatures were selected for inclusion. The Cochrane risk bias assessment tool was used to evaluate the quality of the included studies. RevMan5.4.1 software was used to conduct a meta-analysis of the important indicators in the literature through the quality assessment. Results: A total of 342 articles were selected according to keywords, including 22 repeated articles. Non-clinical trials were excluded, leaving 70 articles. Excluding articles with inconsistent detection indicators and incomplete content, a total of 25 articles that could be read were obtained. According to the specific content of the literature, 14 articles with high quality were selected for Meta-analysis. The meta results showed that acupuncture combined with acupressure could effectively prevent the occurrence of CINV, and the effective rate was high [95%CI (15.99, 28.44), P<0.00001]. Compared with conventional treatment, patients are more inclined to acupuncture-moxibustion combined with acupressure treatment [95%CI (16.60, 33.89), P<0.00001], which can effectively improve QOL [95%CI (1.84, 13.14), P=0.009] of patients and reduce the side effects of chemotherapy such as constipation [95%CI (-11.76, -6.36), P<0.00001] and insomnia [95%CI (-21.31, -1.89), P=0.02].Conclusion: Acupuncture and moxibustion combined with acupressure can effectively relieve CINV, significantly reduce the stigma of patients, and improve the quality of life of patients. Therefore, acupuncture and moxibustion combined with acupressure is expected to become an effective treatment for CINV.
