Abstract:

Objective: To explore the effect of antidepressants in the treatment of septic coagulopathy. Methods: In this study, PubMed and PMC databases were searched to find randomized controlled trials (RCTS) of sepsis on coagulation dysfunction and drug treatment of depressive symptoms. Then, according to the specific research content, the appropriate literature was selected for inclusion and analysis. Cochrane risk bias assessment tool was used to evaluate the quality of the included studies. After determining the quality of the literature, RevMan5.4.1 software was used to conduct a meta-analysis of coagulation function, depressive symptoms and effective rate in the literature. Results: In this study, the relevant literature was searched in PubMed, PMC and other databases, and summarized and analyzed to further clarify the progress of sepsis on coagulopathy and drug treatment of depressive symptoms. The analysis of 13 literatures included in the study confirmed that the use of antidepressants in the treatment of sepsis coagulopathy could reduce the depressive symptoms of patients [95%CI (-24.33, -9.46), P<0.00001], enhanced coagulation function [95%CI (12.08, 18.75), P<0.00001], and increased the effective rate of patients [95%CI (9.19, 15.15), P<0.00001]. Conclusion: According to the statistical results of the included literature, it was confirmed that the use of antidepressants in the treatment of sepsis coagulopathy can effectively improve the efficacy and increase the cure rate of patients.
